An attacking option in midfield, Phoebe Williams is a product of Southampton's Regional Talent Centre having joined the club back in 2016.

She started out in football at Under-9s level for Winchester City Flyers, before Hampshire Centre of Excellence at Under-13s level.

Williams stayed there for two years, then re-joined Saints following the club's receipt of the a RTC licence in 2016.

Internationally, Williams has represented England at every age group between Under-16s and Under-19s level, gaining plenty of experience at a young age.

She was a key member of Marieanne Spacey-Cale's promotion winning side during the 2021-22 season, scoring one of her goals against promotion rivals Oxford United.

She lists her earliest footballing memory as playing football in her garden with her older brother and his friends and her footballing idol as Lucy Bronze.

Williams says her favourite memory as Saint so far was the victory over Portsmouth in the FA Women's National League Cup during the 2019-20 season.
