27-year-old Howard, who joined Southampton FC from FA Women’s National League side Bridgwater United in January 2023, played a key role in their title chase during the 2021/22 season, keeping 15 clean sheets as they finished in fourth place.
Spending a number of stints with Yeovil United in the Women’s Super League, Howard also spent four years in the United States playing for Rider University, and was named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Year during her time there.
