In a reduced week of action for Southampton’s loan players, Dan Nlundulu made his debut for Bolton Wanderers in a resounding win over Portsmouth. This and more in the latest Loan Watch...

After finishing his spell at Cheltenham Town and moving on to promotion-chasing Bolton last week, Nlundulu made his first appearance for his new side on Saturday against none other than his parent-club's rivals.

Coming off the bench in the 37th minute, due to an early injury for Jón Dadi Bödvarsson, the striker played his part in a dominant 3-0 victory for the Trotters which leaves Pompey winless in nine games in all competitions, stretching all the way back to the end of November.

The win strengthened Bolton's spot in the playoff places as they currently sit 5th in SkyBet League One.

Elsewhere, Nathan Tella continued his fruitful loan spell with Burnley in the Championship as a 60th-minute substitute in their 1-0 win over Coventry.

The Clarets are still top of the table with a 5-point lead and are now unbeaten in five games in all competitions.

With postponements and squad rotations impacting Saints' other EFL loanees, it was down in the Vanarama National League South where another standout performance could be found last week.

Jack Bycroft continued to impress with Taunton Town as he picked up the Man of the Match award against Dover Athletic last Tuesday evening.

Despite the Peacocks suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat against the former National League side, Bycroft kept them in the game as they almost salvaged a point but for a missed penalty up the other end.

Up in Scotland, Kazeem Olaigbe picked up more first team minutes with Ross County, coming off the bench as they battled to a 1-1 draw with Motherwell in the Scottish Premier League.

Finally, in France, Mateusz Lis maintained his place as ESTAC Troyes' first choice goalkeeper with two games in a week in UberEats Ligue 1.

However, facing top-six opponents Marseille and Lille saw Troyes suffer successive defeats that ended their two-game unbeaten run in the league.
