Southampton will host Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday 11th January, with the game selected for live coverage on Sky Sports.
The sides will face each other at St Mary’s for a place in the last four of the competition, with kick-off at 8pm GMT.
Saints booked their place in the quarter-finals on Tuesday when they beat Lincoln City 2-1 in Nathan Jones’s first home match in charge, while City advanced past Liverpool 3-2 on Thursday night.
Tickets will initially go on sale to Season Ticket holders on Wednesday 28th December from 2.30pm. Full ticket details and pricing will be released in the upcoming days. Fans are advised that purchase windows will be shorter than previous rounds due to the short turnaround time to the fixture.
