Saints to host Lincoln City in fourth round

Nathan Jones's Southampton will host Sky Bet League One side Lincoln City in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

Saints booked their place in the fourth round with a shootout victory over another League One side, Sheffield Wednesday, on Wednesday night.

The Imps secured progression with a 3-1 victory at Bristol City on Tuesday; Matt Virtue, Ben House and Paudie O'Connor with the goals.

This fixture will take place in the week commencing December 19, following the World Cup.
