WATER REFILL STATIONS IN KINGSLAND AND FAMILY STAND
In line with our Halo effect initiative, we now have water refill stations in the Kingsland and Family stand.
If these prove successful, we’ll look to continue to roll our across other concourses. Small soft plastic refillable bottles will be permitted into the stadium in this area.
SAINTS BRASS X WILD FRONT
During Halftime keep an eye out for a special collaborative performance between Saints Brass and local Southampton indie legends, Wild Front.
The show will include a mix of classic Saints songs as well as Wild Front songs in an exclusive show for fans in attendance.
BLACK HISTORY MONTH
This fixture marks the start of Black History Month, which runs until the 31st October. To celebrate this important month, Southampton Football Club spoke to some of its staff as well as Saints Men’s First Team player Ibrahima Diallo and Women’s First Team player Lexi Lloyd-Smith to find out what black history month means to them, why it’s important, and what successes and challenges they have faced getting to where they are today.
This year’s theme for Black History Month is Time for Change: Action Not Words, so we also asked staff and players what they would want the future to look like for the black community. A video containing these interviews will be played in the stadium pre-match.
In Saturday’s programme, you’ll also find some information with tips on how to be an ally to the black community.
