Saints' successful National League Southern Premier campaign comes to an end this weekend, as the already confirmed champions welcome Cardiff to Snows Stadium.

It's the second of back-to-back Snows outings for Marieanne Spacey-Cale and her side, having faced strong opposition in Oxford United on Wednesday night.

No sooner had Katie Rood given Saints the lead on 16 minutes, Beth Lumsden equalled the scores before Merrick Will's strike flipped the game on it's head at the interval.

Second-half strikes courtesy of Phoebe Williams and Rosie Parnell's first of the season looked to have won Saints all three points, denied only by a 95th minute free-kick from Oxford's Cheryl Williams.

Cardiff were last in action on Sunday, coming out on the wrong side of a 2-1 scoreline at Gillingham.

LAST MEETING

The return fixture between the two sides came at the back end of March, where Saints came away 4-0 winners at the CCB Centre of Sporting Excellence.

Lucia Kendall notched her first and second either side of the break, before confirming a superb hat-trick with just under 20 minutes to play.

Ella Pusey then sealed the result inside the final two minutes, on what was a dominant away victory for Spacey-Cale and her side.

MANAGER'S NOTES

"It's great that our last game of the league season is at home," said Spacey-Cale, "in front of what I'm sure will be another massive crowd.

"Again the crowd were superb on Wednesday, we needed a little bit of energy and when they sing you can see it picks the players up. It's so important.

"We'll prepare again for Sunday and will make sure that we're at our best to face a team like Cardiff who have a lot to play for still.

"We have to make sure that we're at our best."
