It was maximum points for Southampton loanees Dynel Simeu and Kayne Ramsay either side of the border. This and more in this week's Loan Watch...

Carlisle United boosted their survival hopes with victory over Rochdale and Oldham Athletic. Simeu continues to be a mainstay in United’s side, playing the full 90 minutes in both fixtures.

Winning their third straight game following Paul Simpson’s appointment as manager, United now sit 18th in the League Two standings, six points clear of the danger zone.

Across the border in the Scottish Premiership, Ross County also claimed six out of six points in an important week that saw them jump to sixth in the standings.

Kayne Ramsay played a pivotal role for Malky Mackay’s side, keeping a clean sheet and winning the penalty in their 1-0 victory on the road at Motherwell. He also featured for the full 90 minutes in their victory over St Mirren.

Will Ferry and Crawley Town fought to a draw with Oldham in midweek, coming from behind to lead at The People’s Pension Stadium before the visitor’s equalised in the 70th minute.

Ferry then helped aid John Yems’ side to a clean sheet against bottom of the table Scunthorpe, claiming another valuable point as they sit 13th in League Two.

In non-league, Jack Bycroft retained his place in the starting eleven as Dorchester Town fell to a 3-1 defeat to Merthyr Town.
