Introducing Rainbow Saints

Southampton Football Club is proud to introduce Rainbow Saints as an LGBTQ+ supporter group made up entirely of Saints fans.

Watch the video above to hear from Rainbow Saints founders Max Lindsay and Will Morgan, and member Emma Townley, about how the supporter group came about and their aim to create a safe space for LGBTQ+ supporters.

Rainbow Saints were inspired to form following the club’s No Place for Homophobia in Southampton campaign, launched alongside Official Kit Supplier hummel in September to promote inclusivity and champion support for Southampton’s LGBTQ+ community.

The club will be working with Rainbow Saints to enhance the experience of our LGBTQ+ fanbase – you can get involved by joining Rainbow Saints through their website here.

To celebrate the Premier League’s Rainbow Laces campaign, taking place this week, members of Rainbow Saints will be guests at our fixture against Brighton and will make an appearance on the pitch at half-time.

As part of the club’s sustainability strategy, The Halo Effect, Southampton Football Club is committed to treating all of its fans fairly and equally. Find out more about how the club is committed to giving its fans a voice here.
