Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhüttl was left with concern over three of his players following the 4-3 win away to Aston Villa, with Jan Bednarek, Ryan Bertrand and Danny Ings all forced off with injury during the game.
Bednarek landed on his head following an aerial challenge in the first half, and was removed at half-time, with Jack Stephens coming on in his place.
He would not be the last enforced change of the day, as Bertrand went off late on after sustaining a hamstring issue, before Ings suffered an injury to his left knee in the closing moments of the match.
Hasenhüttl will now wait to find out the extent of each of the injuries, as attention turns to next Friday night's home match against Newcastle.
On Ings, Hasenhüttl said: "Hopefully not too serious. It didn't look good, to be honest, but hopefully it's not that serious."
As for Bednarek and Bertrand, the Saints boss added: "A headache for Jan and Ryan has a little problem with his hamstring, but hopefully not too bad."
