The ePremier League finals begin on Thursday, with SaintsVenny and Rusher back to represent the club for a second successive season.

The EA SPORTS FIFA 20 tournament will see 40 competitors, representing all 20 Premier League clubs, battle it out from home to claim the ePL title.

Gaming on both PlayStation and Xbox, the three-day competition will see two console winners crowned before facing off in the cross-console final.

Last season, both Saints players stormed through the group stage before Rusher was knocked out by eventual Xbox champion F2Tekkz and Venny departed in the PlayStation semi-final.

With SaintsVenny starting his PlayStation finals campaign on Thursday, Rusher will compete in the Xbox side of the competition on Friday with both aiming to make it to the semi-finals which will take place on August 28th.

Commenting on returning to the ePL finals to represent Southampton, SaintsVenny said: “Last year was quite a good experience for me. I think we got blessed with the situation we were in with how Southampton catered to us.

"We were underdogs last year but now we’re here for round two, I guess.

Rusher added: “That was my first proper qualifying event, so I was over the moon to even be there anyway. Now, I feel like I’m at a level where I’m at the top but it’s now being consistent against those top players.”
