Despite the current restrictions caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic, we have still been able to run three soccer schools during the Easter Holidays.
Put in place by Southampton City Council, these sessions have been organised for Key Worker’s children from across the city, giving them individual challenges and the chance to win medals and trophies.
All of the sessions have been run in accordance the current social distancing guidelines given by the government with the focus on ball mastery and individual challenges.
Around 20 young footballers have been joining the sessions each working in small groups and using the IT facilities for other football sessions.
Tom Grevatt, Coaching Programmes Manager, was delighted with how the footballers have been handling the week.

We will be running more soccer schools at Bitterne Park and Oasis Academy Lord’s Hill this week. Unfortunately, these sessions are for Key Worker’s children only, but we hope to be back in the community as soon as it is possible.
