The Premier League season might be on hold, but there's still no shortage of developments to keep up to date with behind the scenes across all levels of Southampton Football Club...

Saints As One campaign launches

Southampton Football Club, together with Saints Foundation, has launched its Saints As One campaign, in support of our communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The outreach and engagement project has been designed to help fans and members of society who find themselves isolated and vulnerable at this time, as well as educating, entertaining and uniting the Southampton FC family as a whole.

It begins with a commitment to cook and supply 12,000 meals across the coming 12 weeks, for distribution to some of the most affected people in the city and the immediately-surrounding areas.

Women’s season cancelled

Southampton FC Women were dealt a major setback as their 2019/20 season was cancelled, with all results expunged.

Saints were runaway leaders of the FA Women’s National League Division One South West, but must restart their promotion bid in 2020/21.

Saints delay Season Ticket details

Southampton Football Club has made the decision to delay its announcement of 2020/21 Season Ticket details to supporters, in consideration of the continued uncertainty surrounding COVID-19.

Sales dates will remain under review and supporters will be updated as soon as we are in a position to do so.

The club will await further developments from the Premier League on when it is safe to resume hosting matches, until which point the sales windows for our remaining fixtures in 2019/20 shall also remain on hold.

Saints relive JPT glory

Saturday marked the 10-year anniversary of Southampton’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy triumph at Wembley, and we brought you all the action in a special Saints Rewind.

Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, Papa Waigo and Michail Antonio were on target for Alan Pardew’s side on the club’s first visit to the new Wembley.

For those who missed out, you can still enjoy these extended highlights from a memorable day:

Davis reveals his best moments

In our latest edition of Best of the Saints, former goalkeeper turned first team assistant coach Kelvin Davis reflects on his favourite memories from his St Mary’s playing days.

Davis was a key member of the JPT-winning side and helped Saints to back-to-back promotions from League One to the Premier League.

Find out what he rates as that team’s greatest achievement, his best manager and the finest teammate he played alongside here.

#InTheBox with Armstrong and Ings

Our popular game between two players is back, as Stuart Armstrong and Danny Ings take on our box of questions with hilarious results.

We gate-crashed the team hotel on an away day to sit the pair down side by side and find out who Armstrong would invite as a dream dinner guest and which Saints teammate Ings would pick as his ‘Phone a Friend’ on ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’

You can watch the video in full here:

Walker-Peters on moving clubs

You can catch up on our feature interview with Kyle Walker-Peters here.

In the latest in our series of extended chats with members of the Saints first-team squad, the on-loan defender speaks about his experience of moving clubs for the first time.

The 22-year-old has spent more than half of his life on the books of Tottenham, so joining Saints represented a significant step.

When the beautiful game stops

We’ve been turning back the clock, as club historian David Bull reflects on the last time the professional football season in England was suspended.

Back in 1939/40, the season was temporarily halted and, after a restart, finished in June.

Check out the article here to get your football fix of Saints nostalgia.
