Southampton winger Nathan Redmond has been shortlisted for the Premier League Goal of the Month award for January.
The 25-year-old set Saints on their way to the club’s fourth successive away victory with a stunning opener against Crystal Palace.
Receiving the ball from Jack Stephens with his back to goal, Redmond wriggled away from two defenders to create space for a shot.
Eyeing up the top corner from the edge of the box, he unleashed an unstoppable rising drive that flew past goalkeeper Vicente Guaita at Selhurst Park.
Redmond faces competition from Leicester duo James Maddison and Hamza Choudhury, as well as Alireza Jahanbakhsh, Sébastien Haller, Richarlison, Raúl Jiménez and former Saints teammate Jay Rodriguez.
Voting closes at 6pm GMT on Monday 3rd February, with the winner to be announced at 1pm GMT on Friday 7th February.
Saints have already had one Goal of the Month winner this season, after Moussa Djenepo's solo effort at Sheffield United was recognised back in September.
