The pre-match thoughts of Ralph Hasenhüttl as he spoke to the media ahead of Southampton's Premier League visit to Arsenal.

On what he wants to see on Saturday...

"I want a good trigger after losing the ball, and good moments after losing the ball to fight back and win it back immediately.

"This is something we have been working on with the players here, as we forgot a little bit about this behaviour which made us strong. To pick up this behaviour again has been the main work we had to do in the last two weeks."

On going for the win...

“It’s important in our job to take results, and this is what we are looking for and working for. We have to invest everything we have in preparing for this game and if we do this, we rise the chance to do something.

“Especially against big opponents you have nothing to lose. If we go into the game and be brave, we have a chance to get something.”

On needing a fast start...

“A fast start helps against every opponent because then you feel more comfortable. We did it against Man City and then you see how difficult it is to turn the table.

"In away games we can start fast and score also, and then we are not easy to beat.”

On team news...

“Everyone is back fit. Jan Bednarek qualified, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg is qualified (both for EURO 2020) and a few others have scored, so they come back with some positive experiences and that’s good for us.

“It’s also good that Ryan Bertrand is back after suspension from the Leicester game. I have the whole squad now available and I can pick the eleven that fits perfect to the shape which we play and the opponent we play against."

On Arsenal...

"They are a team that is also a little bit struggling in the last few games, but at home they are strong and last season we played a good second half.

"We must start better than last time because we made two own goals and must be better, and then we have a chance to take something."

On rediscovering away form...

"We know that we only have a chance there if we are very good with our balance and go back to the basic fundamentals of our game, which is what made it different at the beginning of the season when we won away.

"The last away games were okay and against Man City we made a good one. We will be followed by 3,000 fans and we want to show that we will be competitive and try to take something."

On having belief...

"I’m always down when I lose a game and that’s normal. I feel and work with my team and if we don’t take points we are down. We must stand up and fight again and we had a good last week and we must believe in ourselves.

"We have a chance to take something every game and we must grab it with both hands."
