Ralph Hasenhüttl has confirmed that he has no new injury concerns ahead of this weekend’s trip to Tottenham, although Moussa Djenepo remains unavailable.
The winger missed the midweek triumph over Portsmouth in the Carabao Cup, and will not be in the manager’s travelling squad for Saturday’s trip to the capital - a time scale for his recovery is still unknown.
Alex McCarthy is also contending with a slight muscle problem, following his involvement on Tuesday night, but isn't yet ruled out of the coming Spurs clash.
“We managed the game on Tuesday very well,” Hasenhüttl asserted. “Only the long-term injured players, like Moussa Djenepo, are still out.
“Alex McCarthy has a little problem with his muscle. So maybe we take another goalkeeper at the weekend.
“We took a few new pictures [of Djenepo’s injury]. There isn’t more to say. He’s still out. We don’t know how long but in the moment there is no chance to play for him.
“He’s had a very good impact in our team and everyone loves him. He’s a good guy and it isn’t easy for him in the moment. But that’s football.”
