Third play second in tomorrow's Under-18s Premier League showdown at Staplewood, as Saints prepare to host Arsenal, and coach Craig Fleming is sure his young charges are ready to produce the goods.

The Gunners, fresh from their early-week FA Youth Cup triumph, still hold second spot in the league, but Saints have kept pace, and will leapfrog their London counterparts with victory.

And with tomorrow's fixture the perfect stage to catch the eye, Fleming is hoping his youngsters can deliver a performance worthy of maximum praise, and maximum spoils.

"We were back at it [against Brighton], similar to the levels they've produced all season," Fleming said, reflecting on last week's 3-1 win.

"It'll be a tough game tomorrow, Arsenal are in the final of the Youth Cup. They beat us quite convincingly away from home, but the boys have proven that when they are at it, they're a match for anyone.

"The chance to go second as a team, which is a huge achievement. But also, individually, playing a game at Staplewood in front of people who make decisions further up the chain. It is a great opportunity to impress those watching!

"We've been very good at certain aspects of the game, but I'm still looking for that complete performance. We've come close, but I want to see us reach our maximum, be as clinical as we can and just finish as strongly as possible."
