Southampton have been drawn away to Fulham in the third round of this season's Emirates FA Cup.
Saints will make the trip to Craven Cottage on the weekend of January 5th to 8th, as they begin their participation in the competition.
Fulham are currently 15th in the Championship, having made the play-offs in the 2016/17 campaign.
Saints last visited the Cottagers in February 2014, winning 3-0, thanks to goals from Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert and Jay Rodriguez.
The last time they met in the FA Cup, though, it was Fulham who prevailed, as they won 1-0 in a third-round replay, in 1999, after the sides had drawn 1-1 at The Dell.
An exact date and ticketing details for next month's game will be confirmed in due course.
