Mauricio Pellegrino wants to see a different dynamic from his team when they host Sevilla this weekend in their final friendly of the summer.
Saints were beaten 4-0 by FC Augsburg at St Mary's on Wednesday, and will now complete their preparations for the 2017/18 season by taking on the La Liga side on Saturday.
After the 3-0 win over Saint-Étienne last weekend, Pellegrino was disappointed to see a below-par performance in midweek, and he is expecting better against Sevilla.
"Hopefully we can change the face in the next game, because we don't have too much time, but I think for sure we cannot repeat the same situation on the pitch that we had [against Augsburg], where the other team were better in all different moments of the game – with the ball, without the ball, in challenges, positionally.
"The other day [against Saint-Étienne] we saw a nice game and then we see a really bad game.
"The important thing is to try to change quickly the dynamic. From today we will start working together for the next step."
