Manolo Gabbiadini came off the bench to make a late impact and help Italy beat Uruguay in their latest friendly.
The Azzurri took an early lead in Nice, as José Giménez turned into his own net after just seven minutes.
Gabbiadini then entered the fray with ten minutes remaining and made an immediate impact. The Saints striker saw his effort turned in by strike partner Éder to double proceedings minutes later.
It was then 3-0 in the final minutes as Stephan El Shaarawy was fouled in the penalty area and Daniele De Rossi converted to complete the scoreline.
Gian Piero Ventura's men will now turn their attention to Sunday's World Cup qualifier against Liechtenstein.
