Nathan Redmond’s goals against Watford on Saturday saw him score for the third consecutive game against the Hornets.
Redmond struck twice at Vicarage Road in Southampton’s 4-3 win over Watford which also saw him complete the first double of his career to-date.
The Hornets have proved favourable opponents for the England frontman in recent seasons. They are now the team that Redmond has scored the most goals against in his career.
He also struck against them with former club Norwich City when they beat Watford 4-2 at the end of the 2015/16 season, before going on to open his account for Southampton in a 1-1 draw against the Hornets at the start of the season.
Redmond created five chances in total during Saturday’s win over Watford and scored both of his shots on target, also taking a total of 53 touches across the course of the game.
