Claude Puel is confident his team will be fresh and well-rested for the visit of Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.
After a hectic schedule in recent months, Southampton's players have been able to enjoy a ten-day break between games over the Christmas period.
They return to action against Spurs, with midfielder Jordy Clasie the only additional injury absentee, after being affected by a groin problem.
"For this game, all the team will be fresh," said Puel. "Just, of course, Austin with his injury and also Jordy Clasie, but all the players present have had a good recovery after the game against Bournemouth.
"Now it's important to come back with good concentration for the first game after ten days off, and I prefer to play against a good team for the concentration and the good spirit."
In other squad news, Saints, who have midfielder Oriol Romeu back from a one-game suspension for tomorrow's match, are set to lose Sofiane Boufal after their next three matches to Africa Cup of Nations duty with Morocco.
"After Everton, we will lose Boufal for the Africa Cup of Nations, but for the moment this player and all the squad are in a good spirit, are fit and at a good level," said Puel. "I think we can make a good game against Tottenham."
