Southampton might be facing three Premier League games in the space of just six days, but manager Claude Puel is confident they can cope with the demands.
Saints host Tottenham tomorrow night, before welcoming West Brom to St Mary's on New Year's Eve.
Two days later, they then make the trip to Merseyside for a clash with Everton and former manager Ronald Koeman.
But, having rotated his team regularly throughout the season and having used his squad effectively to its fullest extent, Puel is optimistic the challenge can be overcome.
"It's three games in just six days, and we are alone in this situation," said Puel. "It's difficult, but we have experience of the European games and we have a good squad to give a good answer in every game.
"This game against Tottenham is the first one, against a great team, but we have done good things in the last three games, and I hope it is a good game for our fans, with a good result at the end.
"It's always interesting to play against a team like this. They play good football, and it was the same against Bournemouth. We take pleasure from these games.
"To give always a good answer is difficult of course, with the recovery, but now we have developed a squad with many possibilities, and I hope we can always give a good answer."
