Oriol Romeu says Southampton have already shown that they have what it takes to bounce back from disappointment.
Defeat to Sparta Praha was followed by successive victories against Everton and Arsenal respectively.
And with a pivotal Europa League clash against Hapoel Be’er Sheva at St Mary’s to look forward to, Romeu is hoping to make amends for the Crystal Palace display by reaching the knockout stages.
Romeu said: “We just have to go again on Thursday. It was a tough defeat but Thursday, we have another chance to bounce back and hopefully we can do it.
“We have to win and we have to prove that we want to be there and I think with our fans, we are going to have an amazing job and we are going to all enjoy it.
“We have had this season one or two defeats already and we have come back from them and we just have to do it again.
“Hopefully we don’t have more defeats like that but I think we have shown that we can come back after defeat.”
