Saints started the month with a brilliant win against Internazionale, and ended it with impressive victories against Everton and Arsenal.
Having won the award for the previous two months, midfielder Oriol Romeu is in the running to win it for a third successive month.
The midfielder continued to show his fine form, putting in excellent displays in the 0-0 draw with Liverpool and the win against Everton in particular.
Joining him as a nominee is defender Virgil van Dijk. The Dutchman opened his account for the season in the win against Internazionale.
He continued to impress in the draw with Liverpool and the wins against Everton and Arsenal, captaining the side to victory at Emirates Stadium.
Goalkeeper Fraser Forster was also in impressive form during November. The stopper kept clean sheets against Liverpool, Everton and Arsenal.
His performance against Liverpool, in particular, was memorable, producing an excellent save to deny Sadio Mané.
The final nominee for November is defender Ryan Bertrand. Having impressed in the 0-0 draw with Liverpool, Bertrand shone in the 1-0 win against Everton before scoring his first of the season in the victory over Arsenal.
