Southampton Football Club has joined Dugout, bringing an all-new dimension to the club’s digital content output.
Dugout launched earlier this week, with clubs across Europe signing up to be part of the new platform that has rolled out globally.
Other Premier League clubs, including Manchester City and Liverpool, as well as European giants Barcelona and AC Milan, have also joined the new digital channel.
Dugout is free to use and will host content created by clubs and players, with some being available 24 hours before being launched on other social media channels.
Saints will be providing plenty of content unique to the platform, with a look behind the scenes at the Staplewood Campus and St Mary’s Stadium. It’s another chance to get closer to the players.
Dugout President and Co-Founder, Elliot Richardson, said: “Dugout was devised and built for the fans. The game today is truly global and fans don’t just want to watch matches in their own country.
“They want to follow their favourite clubs and players across the world, on and off the pitch. That’s what Dugout offers.
“There’ll be unrivalled access so fans get behind the scenes of the clubs and into the lives of the players.”
