Oriol Romeu is targeting an improvement in Southampton's away form when they visit Crystal Palace for a Premier League clash.
Saints have only won once away from St Mary's in top-flight action this season, triumphing 3-0 at West Ham in September.
They did record an impressive 2-0 victory at Arsenal in the EFL Cup on Wednesday, and Romeu now wants to take that form into the trip to Selhurst Park.
"We need to get the wins away from home, because in the Premier League it is very hard to go out and win and we need to improve that, be better with that, and hopefully we can get that win that we want to get now," said the midfielder.
"Going away against Arsenal and winning is a very tough job, and we did it amazingly, and we hope so. We would like to get that win in Crystal Palace. We know it's going to be tough, with a difficult atmosphere, but we've got the qualities and the perfect position now to go there and do it."
Palace have lost their last six league games, but Romeu is not expecting an easy afternoon.
"As a team, maybe they have been struggling a little bit, but they have very good individual players and we need to be ready," he said. "It's not going to be easy.
"Every game away from home is very hard and we need to get those wins away, which we would like to have soon."
