Claude Puel reflected on a fine week for his team, but insisted it will only be a fantastic one if they can end it with a win at Crystal Palace.
Saints beat Everton last weekend at St Mary's, before advancing to the semi-finals of the EFL Cup with a 2-0 win away to Arsenal on Wednesday.
Following a great couple of days, attention now turns to Saturday's trip to Crystal Palace, and Puel hopes they can finish off a wonderful week with
"It will be a fantastic week if we have a good result against Crystal Palace," he said. "For the moment, ok, we've had two good, important games in the Premier League against Everton and against Arsenal.
"It was interesting with two different teams at the start to win these games and to continue this adventure and all these many games. We have the possibility now to play two more games in the cup and to give game time to all the players. This is very interesting for the development of the squad.
"Now we come back with a strong game, a difficult game, to play against Crystal Palace. It's always difficult after a good game to come back and to keep the good attitude and motivation, and it will be very important to stay present in the mentality and the quality also with this game."
