Dejan Lovren, Gastón Ramírez and Maya Yoshida have all been confirmed in the 23-man squads of their respective countries for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
The trio’s places were confirmed for Brazil’s competition – which gets underway this month – on Monday having previously been picked for slightly larger provisional rosters.
Lovren and Croatia are preparing to face the hosts in Group A along with Mexico and Cameroon, while Yoshida will look to continue his search for full match fitness before doing battle with Colombia, Ivory Coast and Greece in Group C.
The Japanese centre-back stepped up his recovery from injury with 90 minutes in his nation’s 3-1 friendly victory over Costa Rica in Tampa overnight.
Meanwhile, Ramírez will hook up with the rest of the Uruguay team before clashing with Group D’s Italy, Costa Rica and England; Adam Lallana and Luke Shaw have been confirmed in the Lions’ selections.
