Mayuka & Boruc Bidding For Brazil

Emmanuel Mayuka and Artur Boruc are due to play for their respective countries in vital 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers over the course of this weekend.

Goalkeeper Artur is in action first, with Poland travelling to Moldova later today in Group H of the European qualifying process for next summer's finals.

Victory in Chișinău would take Poland to within a point of second-placed England and really turn up the heat at the top of the group going into the final few matches.

However, a poor result would almost certainly put a place at the World Cup beyond Poland's grasp with only four games left to play after tonight's fixture. Kick off at the Zimbru Stadium is at 7.15pm BST this evening.

Mayuka, meanwhile, will hope to line up for Zambia when they take on Lesotho tomorrow afternoon.

The Chipolopolo currently lead African qualifying Second Round Group D, with the winners of the ten groups progressing to the final stage to contest for five places at the finals in Brazil.

Tomorrow's game takes place at the New Ndola Stadium in Ndola, and kicks off at 2pm BST.

Defender Nathaniel Clyne is also likely to be in action on Saturday, with England Under-21s looking to recover from their opening defeat in the 2013 UEFA European U21 Championship.

The Young Lions were beaten in their Group A opener against Italy on Wednesday night, but will look to make amends against Norway tomorrow evening.

Clyne and his teammates will line up at the HaMoshave Stadium in Petah Tikva, with the game getting underway at 5pm BST.
