If you are thinking about further education starting in September 2013, why not consider the Saints Futsal & Education Scholarship programme?

Set up in 2010 and exclusively for 16-17 year olds, the full time Sixth Form College programme is a fantastic opportunity to fulfil your educational and football development based in the heart of St Mary’s Stadium. The Saints Foundation is now looking to recruit the class of 2013, with 16 places available.

The programme currently works with two cohorts of 16 scholars studying a BTEC Level 3 in Sport whilst representing Saints in the National Futsal College Leagues, playing against professional football clubs in the South West region with the aim to be crowned National Futsal Champions!

The Futsal programme offers as an education based at St Mary's Stadium

Joe Selby is 17 years old and is now in his second and final year and is pleased he chose the course.

Joe commented, “You feel part of Southampton Football Club, and the course has delivered everything that was promised and more. I have completed by FA Level 1 coaching qualification and I’m gaining coaching experience with the Saints Foundation.  My aim is to gain a Football Scholarship to a college in America where I will be studying a degree and playing football full time for the college.”

If you love football, Saints and are serious about fulfilling your educational potential, then contact the Saints Foundation on 0845 6889370 and speak to our Education Officer Mark Gamble, or alternatively email
