Saints Big Bike Challenge 2023
It's BACK. Saints Big Bike Challenge, Liverpool to Southampton, the final weekend of the season. Will you take on the challenge?
The Saints Big Bike Challenge. The Premier League season finalé. It just goes together, doesn't it?
For 2023, after three years of different challenges, we're pleased to go back to our old tradition of cycling the last leg of Southampton's Premier League season – which this year takes us from Liverpool FC's home of Anfield back to St Mary's Stadium in time for the Saints' last game of 2022/23 on 28 May.
You'll take on nearly 250 miles of cycling over 3 days, setting off on Friday 26 May and arriving back on Sunday in time to watch the game on us. Participants are fully supported along the route with mechanical and medical support, as well as refreshment, lunch stops and three overnight stays with breakfast. You'll travel to Liverpool by coach on Thursday 25 May.
It's all for a good cause as you'll be raising money for Saints Foundation's life-changing work in Southampton, supporting programmes that help people of all ages live happier, healthier and more fulfilled lives.
How to fund your place:
You'll pay a registration fee of £120 when you sign up.
There are then 3 ways to fund your ride: Fundraiser, Self-Fund, or Corporate Sponsorship.
If you wish to fundraise, this year's target is £800 (+ £120 sign-up fee).
If you wish to self-fund, you will pay £120 on sign-up, and be invoiced £800 five weeks before the challenge.
If you wish to be sponsored by a corporate, you must identify a business who will sponsor you to take part. We will discuss this with you, but they would need to cover at least the £800 cost. You would need to pay the £120 upon sign-up.
If you're interested in signing up but would like more information, you can either contact us at fundraising@saintsfoundation.co.uk, or attend our info evening on Wednesday 8 March, at 6pm at St Mary's Stadium. Just tick the box in the register your interest form below.
